About Sunny Side Academy in West Palm Beach Florida
We are a Creative Curriculum based school in West Palm Beach Florida. We care for children from 2 months to 5 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready for further education.
We are a hands-on school that values families and family participation, which is why we are in constant communication with our families to ensure they have the full picture of their child’s development.
We believe in our children and treat their learning needs individually. Each day, the children rotate throughout our various learning centers. During center time, the children are instructed and guided on the various objectives in each and then allowed to experience the objectives individually or with a partner. This is all done under watchful guidance by one of our highly skilled teachers.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning, creativity, and independence. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
We always strive to provide a nurturing, loving, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children may feel loved, respected, and understood. From there the sky is the limit in what they’re capable of accomplishing, both at Sunny Side Academy & beyond!

Who We Are
We decided to do things a bit differently at Sunny Side Academy by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 2 months to 5 years can explore the world around them.
We have worked hard to create a very warm atmosphere that allows children and their families to feel comfortable and establish trusting relationships. Our directors and teachers make it a point to develop an intentional relationship with all the children and their families.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, ranging from daycare up to Pre-Kindergarten! As well as a wide range of extracurricular activities, and a before & after-school care service with provided transportation!
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our center.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
